Beacon Hill Wallpaper

Hand-Painted Interior

Client Private Location Boston, MA

Walk through a historic Beacon Hill home and find yourself inside a hand-painted wallpaper that refuses to repeat itself. No reprints, no rolls, no industrial production. This is brush and paint applied directly to plaster, wall by wall, a flowing botanical pattern that moves through hallways and spirals up stairwells with every leaf and stem placed uniquely. We designed custom 3D-printed guides to keep the flow precise, then painted with fine-tipped brushes, letting the hand-work show.

The difference between this and printed wallpaper isn’t subtle. A space wrapped in hand-painted detail feels alive in a way a reproduction never does. There’s personality in the variation, confidence in the mark-making, presence in the fact that a human spent hours on these walls. If you’re thinking about that for your space, get in touch.
