Greetings from Bend! We worked on this mural for Greetings Tour with our friend Melon James and locals Vivi Design Co. While a few days ahead of Greetings Tour’s arrival, we quickly painted the background of the mural, the outline and design elements of the letters. We used a painterly touch in the forest background, and went in on the details in the letters “E” and “D.” We used mostly spray paint, stencil caps, and vinyl for lettering. Bend is known for the paddle boarding and water activities on the Deschutes river which runs through town, so we added an easter egg of the artist, David, and his dog on a paddle board together. Victor from Greetings Tour came in and finished off the “B” with a stunning display of fireworks. Cheers!
