American Mural painted a loose botanical pattern across the entry, hallways, and stairwell of this Beacon Hill home. The design works like wallpaper from a distance, but no section repeats. Each leaf and stem was painted directly on the wall.
The pattern had to turn corners, pass through narrow landings, and stay consistent across several connected rooms. We made custom 3D-printed guides to hold the spacing, then finished the lines and small variations by hand. The result keeps the order of a repeating pattern without losing the character of brushwork.
