American Mural joined Greetings Tour, Melon James, and local artists Janessa Bork and Josh Ramp of Vivi Design Co. to paint this 11-by-26-foot mural in downtown Bend. Our production work began ahead of the main crew with wall planning, supplies, and early setup.
The letter scenes draw from Bend’s landscape and downtown landmarks. Vivi Design Co. designed and painted the N with Mount Bachelor, hops, flowers, and a Ponderosa pine. The D shows Drake Park and Mirror Pond, with a paddleboarder and dog tucked into the scene. Spray paint carries the forest, sky, and broad color fields; brush and stencil work handle the smaller details.
