American Mural hand-painted the Nuts4Nuts logo on the brick exterior of the company’s headquarters in Astoria, Queens. The sign combines dimensional lettering with a New York skyline and the Queensboro Bridge in the brand’s red, yellow, orange, black, and white palette.
We transferred the design with traditional pouncing. A full-size paper pattern was perforated along the outlines, fixed to the wall, and dusted with chalk to leave a guide on the brick. Every part of the sign was then painted by hand. We also filmed the process and edited a short vertical video for Nuts4Nuts to share on social media.
