Sandusky, Ohio needed a Greetings mural, and April 8, 2024 had a deadline attached to it. The Total Solar Eclipse was coming through, and the town wanted this painted and up. We set up in the back rooms of a local elementary school, working primarily in spray paint, painting on Dibond flats like we’d done for Cooperstown, built for transport and on-site installation.
The original Sandusky mural had been lost years earlier when a 2020 windstorm toppled the State Theatre building it was painted on. This replacement was engineered to survive, and to arrive on time, before the eclipse passed over. We delivered.
